Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2026 is highly anticipated, promising significant advancements in artificial intelligence. The central focus is a major overhaul of Siri, set to transform it into a more conversational and context-aware assistant. This enhanced Siri will leverage Google’s Gemini technology, enabling it to handle multi-step tasks and integrate seamlessly across various applications and services. Bloomberg reports also hint at a standalone Siri app designed to compete with leading AI chatbots. Apple may also introduce a privacy feature allowing users to set timers for automatic deletion of conversations.
Beyond Siri, Apple Intelligence is poised to introduce numerous enhancements across the Apple ecosystem. The Camera app is expected to feature a new "Visual Intelligence" section with a dedicated Siri mode, utilizing Google Image Search for object identification.
