Anthropic taps TCS to scale its enterprise AI deployments

Anthropic has partnered with Indian IT services giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to accelerate the adoption of its artificial intelligence models within enterprises. This collaboration aims to deploy Anthropic's AI models to TCS customers. TCS will establish a dedicated business unit for this purpose and will gain early access to new model releases, fostering expertise in Anthropic's offerings.
Beyond external deployments, TCS plans to integrate Anthropic's Claude AI assistant into its internal operations, serving over 50,000 employees. The partnership extends to joint development efforts, with both companies creating AI solutions tailored for sectors such as financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, and aviation.
This strategic partnership is part of a broader trend where frontier AI companies are securing enterprise distribution channels through collaborations with major IT services firms in India. Anthropic has actively expanded its presence in the Indian market, which it considers its second-largest, by opening local offices and strengthening ties with key IT service providers.
