Lovable, a rapidly expanding vibe-coding startup, has finalized a multiyear agreement with Google Cloud, substantially increasing its cloud infrastructure usage fivefold. This deal, while undisclosed in monetary terms, significantly boosts Lovable's footprint on Google Cloud, particularly in AI applications.
Under this expanded partnership, Lovable will gain enhanced access to cutting-edge AI models such as Anthropic's Claude, widely utilized for coding tasks, and Google's proprietary Gemini models. This integration is poised to accelerate Lovable's development and operational capabilities.
A key aspect of the agreement involves integrating Lovable's new agent into the Gemini Enterprise Agent Gallery, Google Cloud's enterprise agent marketplace. This move aims to streamline procurement and billing for enterprise clients, simplifying their access to Lovable's offerings. Furthermore, Lovable will integrate with Wiz, Google's significant acquisition, to bolster security by identifying and rectifying code vulnerabilities in real time.
This strategic alliance is mutually beneficial. For Lovable, it provides access to robust cloud resources and advanced AI, supporting its rapid growth, which saw it cross $400 million in annualized revenue. For Google, the deal helps solidify its cloud market position and contributes to funding its substantial capital expenditures, estimated between $180 billion and $190 billion this year, by fostering the growth of key partners like Lovable and Anthropic.
